Frequently asked questions

Below is a list of frequently asked questions to provide you with all the information you need about preserving your florals. If you can't find what you're looking for, or need more information please contact me!

What are the most common questions people ask you when they're thinking about having their flowers preserved?

What happens first? You must contact me at pickedposies@gmail.com to ensure your date is available and coordinate flower drop off in Cheshire. Flowers must be fresh in order to be pressed. Reservations are not needed for memorial flowers.

Are there any special instructions for taking care of the finished pressed flower art, or how long it will last?

Display your pressed flower art out of direct sunlight and away from water sources such as bathrooms or humidifiers. I do not use any artificial products in my preservation process as I look to appreciate the natural beauty and form of each flower. As with most preservation methods, flowers will fade and change color over time offering vintage tones creating a changing piece of art that can be enjoyed as it evolves.

What should customers know about sending their flowers to you and how long it takes to create their unique piece?

Flowers should be received in Cheshire within 3 days following your event. Flowers that are wilted cannot be pressed.

Do customers often ask about different ways their flowers can be displayed or what kind of designs you can create?

If there is a particular frame or style you are interested in we can discuss options!
